Job summary

St. Joseph's University Medical Center in Paterson, NJ is seeking a Registered Nurse for the NICU on a part-time basis (7PM–7:30AM). The role requires delivering nursing care using the Nursing Process and collaborating with the healthcare team to meet patient needs.

Ideal candidates hold a NJ RN license, a BSN preferred, and must complete orientation and BLS/NRP certifications within the first year; additional certifications (NRP, ACLS, PALS) are expected as noted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Licensure required as a Registered Nurse by the State of New Jersey.
• Successful completion of orientation and department-specific certifications within 1 year of hire (BLS and NRP).
• Advance Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification is required or within 6 months of hire.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association are required.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Nursing Process to plan, implement and evaluate nursing care.
• Collaborate with the care team to support patient and family needs in the NICU.
