Job summary

PIH Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles is seeking a Staff RN for the NICU on a part-time night schedule. You will independently apply the nursing process to care for neonatal patients, delivering safe, high-quality care within established policies and procedures.

You will collaborate with physicians and families, document care accurately, participate in interdisciplinary planning, and strive to meet regulatory standards while supporting PIH Health's mission of compassionate,

Qualifications

• Neonatal Critical Care competency required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
• NRP certification required (AAP & AHA).
• STABLE certification within 3 months of employment.
• LA City Fire Card within 6 months of employment.
• One year of recent NICU experience or completion of a NICU training program.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions and develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments and monitor patient responses.
• Document all aspects of patient care in accordance with hospital policies.
• Collaborate with physicians, families and the healthcare team to coordinate care and education.
