Job summary

PIH Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our ICU in the Los Angeles area. This part-time, dayshift position delivers high‑quality critical care to a diverse patient population, using the nursing process to plan, implement and evaluate therapies safely and efficiently within a coordinated team approach with physicians, staff, and families.

Responsibilities include ongoing assessment, timely interventions and collaboration across departments while adhering to the California Nurse Practice

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate critical thinking and clinical judgment in ICU settings.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• NIHSS certification within 6 months of employment.
• VIP certification within six months of employment.
• LA City Fire Card within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to ICU patients using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with physicians, staff, and families to deliver coordinated care.
• Ensure compliance with the California Nurse Practice Act and applicable regulations.
