Job summary

Texas Health Ft. Worth, a MAGNET facility, seeks a part-time Neonatal ICU RN to join the Women’s Center. Responsibilities include delivering care to NICU patients, performing assessments, and planning and evaluating care in a Level III NICU.

Requires RN license, 1 year RN experience, NICU experience preferred, and BCLS/NRP/NRPA/CPI certifications as outlined. Work hours are 6:45PM-7:15AM, 24 hours/week with weekend/holiday requirements and on-call duties in a supportive team environment that

Qualifications

• Associate degree or RN Diploma required.
• BSN is preferred.
• CLIA regulations for foreign education equivalency.
• One year RN experience required; NICU experience preferred.
• 1 year NICU Level III RN experience strongly preferred.
• 18 months NICU RN in acute care preferred.
• RN Upon Hire; BCLS prior to independent patient care.
• NRP within 90 days required; NRPA within 90 days required.
• CPI training annual 90 days required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers care using the Nursing Process.
• Assesses the patient.
• Plans the care; implements interventions.
• Intervenes as needed.
• Evaluates effectiveness of care.
• Maintains age-specific safety and infection control.
