Job summary

Banner North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, Colorado, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Neonatal ICU (NICU) with a night shift schedule of three 12‑hour shifts per week and rotating weekends. The role focuses on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care within a highly collaborative team.

The position requires an active RN license, BLS, and at least one year of acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice; BLS certification is required.
• Experience in the clinical area for which applying is desired; acute care experience preferred.
• Must be able to operate a personal vehicle and have a valid driver's license for Home Health settings.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs across physical, psychological, social and discharge planning.
• Plan and discharge with a realistic, measurable approach in collaboration with patient/family and care team.
• Implement care, supervise staff, delegate tasks, and ensure continuity of care.
• Evaluate patient/family response and revise plans as needed; document in the patient record.
• Participate in unit leadership, mentoring, and quality improvement activities.
