Job summary

UNC Health in Rocky Mount, NC, is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join the Level 2 Special Care Nursery within the Women's Center. You will provide high-quality neonatal care as part of an interdisciplinary team, with privileges approved by the credentialing committee and in collaboration with supervising physicians.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.
• North Carolina APRN/PA license or eligibility.
• Board certification if required by the department.
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered neonatal care.

Responsibilities

• Obtain health history and perform physical assessments for neonatal patients.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans and follow-up.
• Educate families about conditions, treatments, and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to improve care delivery and outcomes.
• Lead and participate in quality improvement and clinical projects.
