Job summary

Mountain View Hospital is seeking an experienced NICU Manager to lead the comprehensive neonatal unit, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care around the clock. You will supervise staff, manage resources, and drive continuous improvement in clinical and administrative operations.

The role requires BSN with RN licensure in Idaho, current BLS/NRP/STABLE certifications, and progressive NICU leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Requires RN licensure in Idaho with BSN preferred.
• BSN preferred; active Idaho RN license.
• Licensure and certifications: BLS, NRP, STABLE; RNC-NIC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership for NICU operations, staffing, and admin functions.
• Directs delivery of patient care in NICU to promote safety and quality.
• Sets departmental goals and develops short- and long-term plans.
• Develops and maintains NICU policies and procedures.
• Ensures compliance with federal/state regs, CMS, and accreditation standards.
• Monitors clinical quality, patient safety events, and staff performance.
• Leads performance improvement initiatives with data and action plans.
• Analyses clinical and operational data for informed decision-making.
• Plans staffing to meet acuity, census, and skill mix requirements.
• Reviews workforce metrics and addresses trends and opportunities for improvement.
