Job summary

Qualifications

• BSN or MSN is required
• BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association required
• NRP and PALS from the American Academy of Pediatrics required
• Minimum 2 years NICU Level III/Level IV RN experience required
• NICU specialty certification (CCRN or RNC-NIC) highly preferable
• Official Transcripts and/or original diploma from a registered nursing program must be provided upon hire

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional nursing care for NICU patients and supervise interventions
• Assess patient, family and staff learning needs and deliver clinical education
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Distribute detailed care instructions to families
• Float between Santa Monica UCLA Medical Center and Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center
