Job summary

Altria in Richmond, VA seeks an Associate Manager, Nicotine Quality Commercialization to lead quality and regulatory initiatives from development through launch. The role supports QMS, regulatory readiness, risk assessments, site audits, and training across internal and third-party sites.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in FDA-regulated quality/regulatory roles, strong project management skills, and is comfortable coordinating cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality management and regulatory compliance in an FDA-regulated industry.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities across operations and functions.
• Proficient with project management software (Microsoft Project, Smartsheet).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and define project-appropriate quality strategies for innovative product manufacturing and implement on schedule.
• Collaborate with contract manufacturers, Product Development, Marketing, Packaging Services, Purchasing, Finance, Legal, and Regulatory Affairs to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
• Establish project-specific QMS for innovative product manufacturing in line with Altria Quality Requirements (control plans, SOPs, records).
