Job summary

System One is seeking a UX Researcher for a fully remote, six-month assignment. You will collaborate with product owners, product managers, experience designers, content designers, and cross-functional partners to scope, plan, and conduct research projects end-to-end.

The role requires 4–5 years of UX research experience across remote, in-person, moderated, and unmoderated methods, including usability testing, interviews, surveys, and more. Maze experience is mandatory.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of UX research experience (remote, in-person, moderated, and unmoderated) across multiple modalities.
• Strong understanding of UX research modalities and methods (generalist).
• Experience with testing platforms: Maze is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Scope, plan, and conduct user research and testing projects end-to-end.

Remote Role : Niche (UX Researcher)

Length of Assignment 6 months

Location Can be fully remote- Any Market Shift Times/Preferred Time Zone 8-5 EST highly ideal (can be slightly flexible)

Key responsibilities:

• You will work cross functionally with product owners, product managers, experience designers, content designers, and other partners to help identify and define research projects and objectives 1. You will scope, plan, and conduct user research and testing projects end-to-end 1. Able to suggest appropriate methods for questions asked by product, design, and other partners 2. Able to decide and advocate for appropriate sample size for each method 2. You will independently program research studies into necessary tools, conduct quality assurance 3. Analyze results, generate actionable insights and share them with partners as well as the broader organization

Must have technical skills/experience:

• A great understanding of UX research modalities and methods (generalist)
• At least 4-5 years of experience in remote, in-person, moderated, and unmoderated user research; including but not limited to usability testing, interviews, surveys, click test, card sorts, tree testing, etc.
• Experience with testing platforms: Maze is mandatory

Flex Skills:

• Glass Box and/or Qualtrics (additional optional )
• At least 3-4 years of experience working in finance, insurance, or healthcare (regulated industries)
• Experience with AI Research
• Great active listening skills
• Strong storytelling skills
• Ability to take initiative and ownership of projects end-to-end
