Role Overview

We are seeking NICET II Construction Inspector and NICET III Senior Construction Inspector to join our team. These positions will be responsible for ensuring that construction projects adhere to applicable codes, standards, and project specifications, contributing to the successful execution of infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background working with the NYSDOT construction inspection, quality assessment, and knowledge of Site Manager software. Job location for these jobs are within the vicinity of Dutchess, Putnam County and Westchester.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections to verify compliance with project plants and specifications.
• Assess construction quality and ensure adherence to NYSDOT regulations.
• Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports, and documentation using Site Manager software.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with project stakeholders, contractors, and engineering teams.
• Review project documentation, including blueprints, contracts, and permits, to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
• Assist in the development and implementation of quality control processes.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, building codes, and regulatory changes.

Qualifications:

• NICET certification ( Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies) Level II or III in Construction Inspection.
• NETTCP asphalt Paving Inspection
• Extensive experience in NYSDOT construction inspection.
• Proficiency with Site Manager software for project documentation.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications:

• Experience in civil, transportation, or utility infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with federal, state, and local construction regulations.
• Additional certifications in related fields (e.g., OSHA, ACI).
