The Boston Red Sox are seeking an Area Scout to cover Nicaragua. The role requires residing in Nicaragua year-round, reporting on players, and collaborating with scouting leadership. You will help signings and support additional assignments as needed.

Primary duties include evaluating talent, building a network, coordinating tryouts, and ensuring compliance with MLB international scouting policies while representing the organization professionally.

Competenze

• Must be able to build strong relationships with players, coaches, agents and trainers from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Spanish preferred.
• Ability to understand evaluation data and translate it into actionable recommendations.
• Wamiliarity with international scouting practices and MLB guidelines is a plus.

Mansioni

• Primary scout for the assigned area, evaluating talent and reporting findings.
• Maintain a detailed network of players, trainers, and agents.
• Develop knowledge of specified technologies and apply results to evaluations.
• Collect data, physical assessments, and video of players.
• Provide regular updates to supervisors on players in your territory.
• Coordinate tryouts and cover events inside and outside the territory.
