The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a full-time Shift Receptionist for its Chelsea site. The role combines welcoming patients and visitors with a range of administrative duties in a fast-paced hospital setting.

You will need strong IT and communication skills, be reliable and organised, and able to work the 07:00–23:00 rota across all days, including bank holidays. NHS experience is helpful but not essential.

Qualificações

• Strong IT and administrative skills are essential.
• Previous NHS experience is helpful but not required.
• Ability to work flexibly across the full shift pattern and respond professionally to patients, relatives, staff, contractors and emergencies.

Responsabilidades

• First Point of Contact: provide friendly and professional front‑of‑house reception; greet patients and visitors.
• Facilities Helpdesk Duties: central contact point for facilities requests; log and resolve routine issues; escalate complex matters.
• Team Support and Flexibility: cover at other sites/departments as needed; adjust hours to maintain service continuity.
• Policy and Governance Awareness: stay up to date with Trust policies and procedures.
