Qualifications
- BS/MS in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or related field; associates considered with relevant experience.
- Hands-on molecular biology techniques including PCR/qPCR, DNA quantification, library prep.
- Strong attention to detail and meticulous documentation practices.
Responsibilities
- Execute NGS library preparation, target enrichment, and sequencing workflows.
- Process samples to meet production schedules and customer timelines.
- Perform PCR/qPCR, DNA quantification, purification, and electrophoresis as needed.
- Operate and maintain lab equipment, incl. liquid handling robots and sequencers.
- Troubleshoot issues to maintain workflow continuity and data quality.
- Track and document projects and batch records with deviations.
- Analyze data and contribute to result interpretation.
- Develop and optimize NGS protocols and workflows.
