GE Aerospace seeks a seasoned Program Manager to lead day-to-day program operations, ensuring safe, high-quality, on-time execution and alignment across teams. The role drives cost control, schedules, and continuous improvement while fostering accountability, collaboration, and respect to meet customer and company commitments.

You will manage budgets, Earned Value metrics, risk, and recovery plans, partnering with finance, engineering, supply chain, and site teams.

Qualificações

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering with minimum 6 years of professional experience
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. citizenship required for security clearance; ability to obtain and maintain clearance

Job Description Summary

Lead day-to-day program operations to ensure safe, high-quality, on-time execution. This role drives alignment across teams, removes barriers, manages cost and delivery performance, and promotes continuous improvement to meet customer and business commitments. A successful candidate for the role will build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and respect, ensuring teams have the clarity, resources, and support needed to meet customer and company commitments.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Lead weekly program operations reviews to track key milestones, cross-functional dependencies, and execution risks, enabling timely decisions and on-schedule delivery.
  • Manage budget planning and execution across multiple funding sources, ensuring accurate forecasting, cost control, and alignment with business priorities.
  • Drive Earned Value Management (EVM) performance by monitoring cost, schedule, and execution metrics, identifying variances early, and leading corrective actions.
  • Support continuous improvement through standard work, visual management, operating rhythms, and structured problem solving to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Remove operational barriers by coordinating resolution of facility, infrastructure, equipment, and workflow issues that affect execution.
  • Partner with finance, program leadership, supply chain, engineering, and site teams to ensure resources, investments, and recovery plans are in place to meet commitments.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement through clear expectations, performance tracking, and proactive risk escalation.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college with minimum 6 years of professional experience
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
  • Due to the nature of the duties of this position, this role requires the individual to obtain and maintain US Government Security Clearance; prerequisite for a security clearance is U.S. citizenship.

  • 10 years of relevant experience
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated project management experience.
  • Proven ability to lead across cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.
  • Strong interpersonal, customer-facing, verbal, and written communication skills.
