This is a high‑stakes execution challenge: aggressive timelines, stringent customer requirements, multiple stakeholder organizations, and constant visibility from both Customer and GE Leadership teams. The Program Control Sr. Staff Engineer, in conjunction with the Program Management Organization (PMO), will be the driver of program execution— Ensuring execution of the Integrated Master Schedule (MS), driving Earned Value Management (EVM) performance, developing customer‑facing metrics that tell the program story, and ensuring technical work translates into schedule progress and cost performance.
Your primary mission is integration and visibility. You'll coordinate through engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, test, and finance organizations to ensure alignment and execution to the plan. You'll own the engineering program baseline, proactively identify risks and opportunities, and provide leadership with the situational awareness needed for real‑time decision‑making. This will entail working closely with the Digital Engineering Ecosystem (DEE) team to develop dashboards and data pipelines that turn program data into actionable insights.
This role requires mastery of DoD program management disciplines—EVM, IMS development, risk management, and customer reporting. You must be fluent in both technical engineering and business operations, able to translate between customer requirements, engineering execution, and financial performance. Strong communication skills are essential: you'll brief senior leadership, engage directly with DoD customers, and influence teams across the enterprise to drive coordinated execution.
