Job summary

General Dynamics - IT is seeking an NGDE Systems Administrator to maintain and secure a large-scale thin client and virtual desktop environment across multiple domains. You will ensure high availability, apply security patches, and collaborate across engineering, network, cybersecurity, endpoint, and virtualization teams to support modernization efforts.

Role requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, DoD IA/certifications, and hands-on experience with VDI, thin clients, and certificate services

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an IT‑related field or 8+ years of IT experience in lieu of a degree.
• Hands-on experience with thin client, VDI, and multinetwork desktop delivery environments.
• Strong documentation, communication, and cross-team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer NGDE thin client and virtual desktop systems across multiple networks.
• Monitor infrastructure health, performance, and compliance; resolve alerts.
• Collaborate with engineering, network, cybersecurity, and virtualization teams.
• Apply security patches and firmware updates to maintain baselines.
