NG911 Integration Architect
Our Government Client in MetroTech Brooklyn, NY is looking for a NG911 Integration Architect for a 12+month ONSITE role. This is a 35 hour week.
The NG911 Integration Architect is a senior technical role responsible for defining, designing, and overseeing the end-to-end systems integration architecture that enables seamless interoperability across New York City's Next Generation 911 (NG911) environment.
This position provides strategic technical leadership to ensure that all network, application, data, and security components—including NGCS, CAD systems, logging platforms, GIS, analytics, and agency subsystems—are properly integrated, resilient, and compliant with Public Safety Engineering and governance standards.
The Integration Architect ensures the City's NG911 ecosystem functions as a unified, fault-tolerant platform that supports mission-critical operations for 911 call routing, multimedia handling, and emergency response coordination.
The transition to NG911 represents a complete modernization of NYC's emergency communications infrastructure—from legacy circuit-switched systems to an IP-based, standards-driven, multi-vendor architecture. This transformation involves complex integration across multiple domains:
Network and Security (PSAC I/II, NGCS, Firewalls)
Applications and Subsystems (CHS, NICE, CAD-to-CAD, GIS, ECRF/LVF)
Data and Analytics Platforms (Logging, QA, Performance Metrics)
External Partner Connectivity (Carriers, Neighboring Jurisdiction, and City Agencies)
