Job summary

The Children’s Home of Reading is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to lead nurse home visitors and support staff in Reading, PA. You’ll supervise staffing, education, and program operations to ensure high-quality care aligned with NFP standards.

You’ll oversee budget, contracts, community engagement, CQI activities, and staff development while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and compassionate service, with paid training and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Nursing required.
• Master’s in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Experience in public/community health, including home visitation.
• Maternal/child health services experience in community setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee recruitment and hiring of nurse home visitors and administrative staff.
• Ensure attendance at required NFP education sessions and contract obligations.
• Develop strategies to address knowledge gaps and provide professional development.
• Assign client caseloads and monitor staff performance; provide feedback and remediation.
