Qualifications
- Three+ years of professional editorial experience in digital/newsroom settings.
- Proven track record leading editorial coverage and high-level decisions during major events.
- Deep knowledge of NFL, teams, players, and league trends.
- Experience managing writers, setting goals, giving feedback, evaluating performance.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the NFL coverage strategy across platforms.
- Directly manage, mentor, and develop a team of writers with clear expectations.
- Lead performance reviews, development plans, and feedback processes.
- Balance breaking news with long‑form franchises and enterprise projects.
- Ensure coverage meets editorial standards and deadlines across major events.
