Job summary

CBS Sports in New York is seeking an experienced Art Director to lead the on-air graphics team in a dynamic sports production environment. You will oversee daily output, develop concepts for a variety of productions, and mentor junior artists while delivering compelling visuals with the Adobe Creative Suite.

You will collaborate across CBS Network, Sports Network Cable and Digital, guiding design direction, ensuring visual consistency, and integrating graphics into complex live and remote

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in sports graphics or related environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to lead and mentor a team of designers and animators.
• Proven ability to translate creative direction into executable visuals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day to day creative output of the graphics department.
• Develop concepts for on-air productions and packages.
• Direct, mentor and guide junior artists and animators.
• Design using the Adobe Creative Suite for live and pre-recorded graphics.
• Lead 3D design, lighting and animation work for productions.
• Collaborate with external agencies to unify CBS Sports brand look.
• Integrate graphics into complex production environments.
