Qualifications

  • Experience administering the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) at local, state, tribal, or federal levels.
  • Ability to communicate to stakeholders concerning complex and technical issues.
  • Experience conducting research and drafting technical findings.

Responsibilities

  • Promote the NFIP to reduce flood risk for communities and properties.
  • Provide compliance oversight, technical assistance, and guidance on NFIP requirements.
  • Review complex information and communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders.
