Job summary

EisnerAmper is seeking a Senior Consultant – FEMA in its Government Services Practice in the United States. The role focuses on FEMA-funded initiatives across PA, IA, Hazard Mitigation, and IIJA programs, requiring strong knowledge of FEMA regulations and related processes.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in state/local disaster recovery programs, experience with compliance and financial management, and a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Potential travel and extended hours may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in state/local disaster recovery programs administering FEMA funds.
• Knowledge of FEMA programs, statutes, regulations and policies and related financial management.
• Bachelor’s degree as listed in the qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Support clients in maintaining compliance with FEMA regulations and 2 CFR 200.
• Assist in expediting complex closeout of multiple open disasters.
• Support client financial management and accounting functions including time and cost tracking.
• Determine method of program implementation using experience.
• Ensure timely and accurate development of client deliverables.
• Engage in business development activities and proposal responses.
• May travel or work extended hours as needed.
