Job summary

Radius Recycling seeks an NF Processing Manager to lead the nonferrous (NF) receiving and processing operations, ensuring strict adherence to Health, Safety and Environmental regulations. The role collaborates with commercial and other department managers to maintain safe, efficient processing and handling of NF materials.

The manager oversees daily NF operations, develops space layouts, implements process improvements, and supervises exempt and hourly staff, while coordinating with maintenance

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years metal recycling industry experience.
• Thorough knowledge of NF Materials Grading; good judgment and interpersonal communications.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental regulations; maintain safe operating practices and training.
• Direct, schedule and coordinate equipment and personnel for NF operations.
• Develop layout plans for NF processing and shipping areas to optimize workflow.
• Submit and implement process improvements to improve refining quality, profitability or safety.
• Maintain inventory records and support budgeting/forecasting activities.
