Job summary

Hamilton County Department of Education seeks a girls wrestling assistant coach to support program operations and athlete development.

Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with health-safety policies and maintaining required certifications on file each year. Candidates should be prepared to complete NFHS courses and related training as part of ongoing eligibility.

Qualifications

• Coaches must complete NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching and NFHS First Aid, Health, & Safety for Coaches prior to assuming the position.
• Coaches who completed the ASEP Coaches Education Course prior to May 15, 2013 will not be required to take NFHS courses.
• All applicable health-safety and readiness courses must be on file each year.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with state health-safety policies.
• Maintain required concussion and Sudden Cardiac Arrest certificates on file annually.
• Complete NFHS and related courses as required to maintain eligibility.

Responsibilities

Non-faculty Coaches and Classified Employee Coaches must complete the NFHS “Fundamentals of Coaching” and “First Aid, Health, & Safety for Coaches” courses prior to assuming the position. Coaches who have successfully completed the ASEP Coaches Education Course prior to May 15, 2013, will not be required to take the NFHS courses.
