Job summary

Menlo Church is seeking a Director of NextGen Ministry to provide strategic and operational leadership for a multisite kids and students ministry. You will partner with parents, coach campus directors, and oversee safety, facilities, budgets, and ministry engagement across campuses.

You will champion data-driven decisions, manage the NextGen team, and collaborate with campus pastors to align efforts with Menlo Church’s mission and ECO framework.

Qualifications

• A committed Christian aligned with Menlo Church mission and values.
• 5+ years of experience in a NextGen role, preferably multisite.
• Seminary education preferred.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace, Asana, and cloud platforms.
• Proven experience in managing staff & volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Establish and implement the NextGen Discipleship Strategy at Menlo Church.
• Lead and supervise the NextGen Central Team.
• Ensure campus safety, facilities, recruiting, and ministry engagement standards across campuses.
• Develop strategies to partner with parents in faith development of children.
• Coach and develop kids and student directors at each campus to lead ministries.
• Monitor resource use and develop budgets for kids and student ministries.
• Build relationships with Campus Pastors for alignment and teamwork.
• Collaborate with Weekend Planning/Communications to raise NextGen awareness.
• Keep Next Gen Playbooks updated with clear and measurable wins.
• Input data related to Next Gen ministries to guide future decisions.
• Track trends in Next Gen Ministry to keep programs fresh and effective.
