Job summary

Menlo Church is seeking a part-time NextGen Coordinator to support ministries across campuses. You will recruit and develop volunteers, work with campus teams and the Central NextGen group, and help prepare classrooms for a welcoming environment for children and families.

The role requires organization, relational engagement, and adaptability to change, with ongoing collaboration to serve parents, families, and volunteers during Sundays and special events.

Qualifications

• College degree or 2-years’ experience in a youth ministry.
• Experience overseeing staff and lay leaders in ministry preferred.
• Experience in a church with multiple locations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work as a cohesive unit with the team and campus staff.
• Plan and execute events and services to reach the neighborhood and NextGen events.
• Recruit, train, and develop volunteers and leaders.
• Ensure materials and supplies are ready for volunteers on Sundays.
• Prepare NextGen classrooms weekly for safe, engaging experiences.
• Schedule student team leaders and volunteers; support various areas of Student Ministry.
• Screen volunteers, ensure training, and maintain healthy boundaries.
• Provide leadership during Sunday programming and support volunteers as needed.
• Manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and delegate effectively.
• Model teamwork and positive values consistent with Menlo Church.
• Handle additional duties as assigned by the Associate Family Pastor.
