Job summary

Hillside Fellowship in Texas is seeking a NextGen Team Lead to guide middle and high school ministries, partnering with families and volunteers to build gospel-centered environments where students know Jesus and grow in faith.

The role focuses on vision, strategy, and leadership development, with a strong emphasis on safeguarding, system building, and sustainable ministry growth within a church community that values disciple-making.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent ministry training.
Minimum of three years in student ministry leadership with volunteer development.
Experience teaching God's Word and shepherding students and families.
Strong leadership, teaching, and communication skills.
Ability to lead through others and develop healthy ministry leaders.

Responsibilities

Lead NextGen vision and strategy aligned with Hillside Fellowship's mission.
Oversee weekly gatherings, small groups, retreats, camps, and mission trips.
Develop volunteers and leadership pipelines with training and coaching.
Manage the NextGen budget and stewardship of resources.
Ensure safety policies, child protection, and compliance across ministries.
Collaborate with Hillside Kids Team Lead to transition students between ministries.
Participate in churchwide planning, events, and initiatives.
