University of Maryland, College Park is seeking a NextGen Program Coordinator to orchestrate program activities and monitor contractual performance in support of the Program Manager and Governance Manager.
The role requires reviewing complex requirements, synthesizing information, and alerting decision makers to action items. Telework-eligible with duties including meetings coordination and data-driven administration.
Organization's Summary Statement: The NextGen Program Coordinator is responsible for orchestration of NextGen Program activities and monitoring the program’s contractual performance in support of the Program Manager and Program Governance Manager. The incumbent must review and interpret complex requirements, conduct related research, spot anomalies, prioritize actions within realm of responsibility, synthesize disparate information sources to extract relevance and alert decision makers to significance and/or needed action. The role is responsible for coordination of NextGen Program activities and monitoring the program’s contractual performance in support of the NextGen Program Governance Manager. This role reports directly to the NextGen Program Governance Manager who is accountable for contractual oversight of the Concessionaire and the NextGen Program.
The incumbent primarily works in an office environment and requires the ability to use a personal computer, phone, and other devices. This position is telework-eligible.
The incumbent must possess a driver's license, as the role involves traveling to meetings and project sites both on and off campus. If operating a state vehicle, the incumbent must possess a valid MD Class C driver’s license or an equivalent with fewer than six (6) points.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
One (1) year of professional administrative or coordinator experience.
Additional work experience as defined above may be substituted on a year for year basis for up to four (4) years of the required education.
