Job summary

Sun Valley Community Church seeks a Next Steps Director to lead the Next Steps program and guide guests toward deeper connection and responsibility across campus environments, including assimilation, baptism, small groups, bridge groups, local outreach and recovery ministries.

You will supervise Next Steps and Guest Services teams, train volunteers, and steward budgets to deliver an engaging guest experience on weekends and during events.

Qualifications

• The Next Steps Director leads the Next Steps program and processes for helping individuals take the next step in their relationship with Jesus.
• Provides leadership for assimilation, baptism, small groups, bridge groups, local outreach and recovery ministries.
• Leads all components related to delivering an exceptional guest service experience on weekends and special events.

Responsibilities

• Executes the Next Steps ministry vision through planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Reproduces SVCC culture, systems and environments at the assigned campus.
• Recruits, trains and develops staff and volunteers for Next Steps and Guest Services.
• Encourages staff through prayer and a relational team environment.
• Implements quality standards for Guest Service volunteers and oversees guest experience on weekends and events.
• Develops and manages Next Steps and Guest Services budgets at the campus.
