Job summary

ams OSRAM is seeking a Validation and Characterization Engineer in Plano, Texas. You will join the engineering team to evaluate semiconductor products throughout development, ensuring performance, quality, and reliability.

You will develop software and hardware testing solutions, collect and analyze data across PVT, and collaborate with design, ATE, and systems teams to meet milestones. On-site role with hands-on lab work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in semiconductor validation/characterization or related field.
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams.
• Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with PCB assembly and hardware debugging.

Responsibilities

• Develop software and hardware solutions to enhance sensor testing.
• Assist characterization data collection and analysis across PVT.
• Work with cross-functional teams to meet milestones.
• Assist post-silicon debug to identify root causes with lab instruments.
• PCB soldering and assembly tasks.
