Job summary

ams OSRAM seeks a Validation and Characterization Engineer to join our Plano, TX team to validate semiconductor products, develop testing methods, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure performance and reliability.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in semiconductor validation or test engineering, a B.S. in Electrical/Computer Engineering, strong data analysis, debugging skills, and PCB assembly experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in semiconductor validation, characterization or test engineering.
• Bachelor's in Electrical or Computer Engineering required; master's preferred.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with PCB assembly and hardware debugging is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop software and hardware solutions to enhance testing capabilities.
• Assist characterization data collection and analysis across PVT.
• Meet critical schedule milestones in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with design, ATE, and systems teams to resolve issues.
• Assist post-silicon debugging using lab instruments.
• PCB soldering and assembly.
