Job summary

TelevisaUnivision in the United States is seeking an experienced Editor for the News team. You will edit various video formats, coordinate with producers and control room, and ensure flawless on-air delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Broadcast Communications, at least 2 years editing, and expert use of Avid Media Composer. Bilingual English/Spanish communication is essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Communications or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of video editing experience.
• Expert knowledge of Avid Media Composer and I-News rundowns.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Edit daily news stories and breaking news using non-linear editing systems.
• Collaborate with reporters, producers and control room for flawless on-air delivery.
• Edit materials to match scripts and provide production suggestions.
• Coordinate with master control for final submission of the show.
• Find and organize archive footage for ongoing stories.
