Job summary

Entravision is seeking a versatile Editor / Camera Operator to join our national Spanish-language streaming news team in Miami. This hybrid role combines field shooting with post-production to deliver compelling content for streaming, broadcast, digital, and social platforms.

The ideal candidate brings at least 3 years of newsroom or multimedia experience, fluent Spanish, and strong skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, editing, and visual storytelling under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a camera operator, editor, or multimedia journalist in a television newsroom, streaming, or digital news environment.
• Fluent, near-native Spanish speaking and writing skills are required.
• Strong proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro and modern non-linear editing systems.
• Strong visual storytelling skills and creative editing style.

Responsibilities

• Shoot high-quality video in the field and in studio for news stories, live events, interviews, special projects, and breaking news.
• Edit daily news content, including reporter packages, interviews, features, promos, and digital-first content.
• Collaborate with producers, reporters, writers, and graphic designers to create engaging visual storytelling.
• Operate professional broadcast cameras, lighting, audio, and related production equipment.
• Capture compelling video, natural sound, and interviews that strengthen storytelling.
• Edit content with strong pacing, creativity, and attention to detail while meeting tight deadlines.
• Adapt quickly to breaking news and changing editorial priorities.
• Ensure all content meets Entravision's editorial, technical, and production standards.
• Assist with live field productions and special event coverage as needed.
• Maintain and properly care for assigned production equipment.
