Job summary

WEAR is seeking a part-time News Production Assistant in Pensacola, FL. The role includes operating TelePrompter or camera and floor managing for morning, evening, and weekend newscasts.

Responsibilities cover studio prep, greeting and mic-ing guests, maintaining the set, lighting upkeep, and basic video editing for webcasts. Training provided; weekend work required; 20 hours per week on average.

  • Clean and maintain studio
  • Lighting maintenance
  • Video editing for webcasts
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience:

• Experience is not necessary, but education and/or internship in television or related field preferred
• Training will be provided

General Hours: [schedule varies, 20 hour work week on average]

• Must be able to work on weekends
• Other hours as needed, on occasion
