Job summary

WKRC is seeking a part-time News Production Assistant to support the newsroom operations. Responsibilities include operating studio equipment for newscasts and assisting with prep, studio maintenance, lighting, and editing for broadcasts.

Education or internship in television or a related field is preferred, with training provided. Must be able to work on weekends and holidays, and additional hours may be required as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate studio equipment for newscasts, including cameras and teleprompter.
• Prepare for newscasts, including studio and set preparation and maintaining the studio.
• Assist with lighting and editing for newscasts.
• Help out on assignment desk and perform other duties as assigned.
