Job summary

WKRC is a Sinclair Broadcast Group station in Cincinnati seeking a full-time News Production Assistant to support morning, evening and weekend newscasts.

Responsibilities include operating cameras, prepping for newscasts, studio setup, lighting, directing as needed, and editing some segments. Training is provided, and weekend/holiday availability is required with other hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but education and/or internship in television or related field will be considered
• Training will be provided
• Must be able to work on weekends and holidays
• Other hours as needed, on occasion
