Great candidates bring digital and social media skills, experience with Dalet, and a BA in journalism or communications or equivalent experience. You will coordinate reporter hits, book guests, and help manage live segments.

Qualifications

• Strong digital and social media skills.
• Experience with Dalet and other video editing software preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Past internship experience in broadcast media preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Keen interest in business and financial news.
• Ability to thrive under tight deadlines and in a high-pressure environment.
• A proactive, self-starter attitude with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Flexibility to work varied hours as news demands.

Responsibilities

• Assist producers with opens, resets, teases and segments, including pulling and cutting VO/SOTs; selecting, buying photos, and making pic pushes; creating graphics.
• Coordinate reporter hits and produce minute by minute post show.
• Help build daily rundown.
• Pitch stories for news of the day and future segments.
• Book guests during breaking news situations.
• Help book studios, pods, check in guests during live show.
