Job summary

FOX10, Arizona's preeminent source for news, is seeking a talented, passionate, creative, and collaborative Producer to join our dynamic team. You will produce timely and compelling newscasts, lead the editorial process, book guests, and shape segment features.

Ideal candidates have strong news judgment, writing and copy-editing abilities, and proficiency with desktop editing and social media tools. Requires 2+ years in a major market newsroom; Bachelor’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have strong news judgment, writing and copy-editing abilities.
• Experience in a major market newsroom preferred; editorial leadership helpful.
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism or communications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce a timely, compelling newscast that is editorially and visually dynamic.
• Lead editorial process, including booking guests and segment features.
• Possibly produce content/newscasts for specials and field productions.
• Assign stories for associate producers and ENG staff; manage graphics and templates.
• Collaborate with staff to elevate daily newscasts and social media integration.
