Socket.dev, a growing California law firm, seeks an entry level Workers’ Compensation Attorney to join our team through a structured training and growth program. This role is ideal for a motivated attorney looking to gain hands‑on experience, mentorship, and a clear path to advancement.

No prior workers’ compensation experience is required. The program provides training, supportive staff, and a progressive increase in responsibility, with a starting salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 plus

Qualifications

• Recently admitted to the California Bar (or pending admission).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Client-focused and reliable.
• Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn workers’ compensation case fundamentals and workflow.
• Open and evaluate cases with intake and support teams.
• Manage files from start to finish with supervision.
• Assist with depositions as you progress.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and staff.
• Develop toward supervisory role within approximately two years.

What You’ll Do

As part of our New WC Attorney Growth Program, you will receive training and progressively increased responsibility, including:

• Learning workers’ compensation case fundamentals and workflow
• Working closely with intake and support teams to evaluate and open cases
• Managing workers’ compensation files from beginning to end (with support staff)
• Assisting with and conducting depositions as you progress
• Collaborating with senior attorneys and staff
• Developing toward a supervisory role within approximately two years
