Socket.dev, a growing California law firm, seeks an entry level Workers’ Compensation Attorney to join our team through a structured training and growth program. This role is ideal for a motivated attorney looking to gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and a clear path to advancement.

No prior workers’ compensation experience required. Those awaiting BAR results are encouraged to apply. Starting salary is $80,000 to $100,000 and is based on geographic area + experience.

Qualifications

• Recently admitted to the California Bar (or pending admission).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable receiving feedback and training.
• Strong communication skills.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn workers’ compensation case fundamentals and workflow.
• Work closely with intake and support teams to evaluate and open cases.
• Manage workers’ compensation files from beginning to end (with support staff).
• Assist with and conduct depositions as you progress.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and staff.
• Develop toward a supervisory role within approximately two years.

• Managing workers’ compensation files from beginning to end (with support staff)
• Assisting with and conducting depositions as you progress
• Collaborating with senior attorneys and staff
• Developing toward a supervisory role within approximately two years
