Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from a standard high school or the equivalent.
• Two years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in medical or other laboratory work.
• Substitution: college coursework with physical/biological sciences hours or an associate degree may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process incoming specimens for laboratory testing.
• Enter demographic and specimen data into LIMS and perform data entry checks.
• Assist with receiving/distributing supplies and preparing specimen collection kits.
• Duties performed under general supervision.
