Job summary

The State of South Carolina's Department of Public Health seeks a candidate to assist in developing and documenting SOPs for the Newborn Screening Follow-Up Program. You will train staff on workflows and establish a comprehensive training program with documentation.

You will perform detailed data analyses using advanced Excel functions and collaborate with program staff to optimize workflows and documentation needs, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma and relevant program experience.
• Enrolled in or recently graduated from an undergraduate program in Public Health, Biological Sciences, Health Informatics, or a related field.
• Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience that demonstrates the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Train on Newborn Screening Follow Up program workflows and develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) from the training.
• Establish a training program including training documentation for the Newborn Screening Follow-Up Unit.
• Conduct detailed data analysis related to Newborn Screening Follow-Up activities using advanced Microsoft Excel functions.
• Collaborate with program staff to understand workflow and documentation needs.
