Beacon Health System is seeking a PRN Day Shift Registered Nurse for the Newborn ICU at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, IN. The RN will provide professional care, assess patient needs, and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program and RN license in the state of Indiana
• Within 5 years of employment as an RN, obtain a BSN or certification in your area of specialty

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing services in newborn ICU, assess patient needs, initiate and evaluate individualized care plans
• Safely perform high-frequency technical procedures in line with standards
• Prioritize care based on acuity and departmental needs
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes clearly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure quality outcomes
• Advocate for patients and families and support ongoing professional development of peers
