Job summary

Pediatrix is seeking a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to perform on-site hearing screens in hospital settings, providing education to parents about the relevance of screening and early intervention.

You will evaluate screen readiness, collect required data, and ensure accurate documentation and timely reporting. Training includes annual certification by the American Academy of Audiology.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR Certification or ability to obtain upon offer.
• Flexibility to work on weekends and national holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform newborn hearing screens and educate parents on the importance of screening and early intervention.
• Ensure patient screen readiness (fed, quiet, still) before testing.
• Collect data/demographics and perform screens during each shift with proper documentation.
