Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• CPR certification is required or obtained upon offer.
• Ability to work weekends and national holidays is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform newborn hearing screens in hospital settings.
• Provide education to parents about hearing screens and early intervention.
• Ensure adherence to PPE, vaccinations, and safety protocols.
• Assess patient readiness before screening.
• Collect data/demographics and document results per protocol.
• Upload screen results and billing information by end of shift.
• Refer babies as needed and coordinate outpatient appointments.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional communication with families.
