Job summary

Anomatic in Newark, OH is seeking a production floor operator to efficiently run the degreaser and ensure parts emerge clean and ready for anodizing. The role requires careful handling, accurate weighing, and adherence to safety and record-keeping procedures.

You will load and unload baskets, count pieces on scales, keep parts correctly sorted by part numbers, and maintain a clean environment on the degreasing line with proper PPE.

Qualifications

JOB SUMMARY

This production floor position is responsible for the efficient operation of a degreaser by monitoring all steps to ensure that all parts come out clean and ready for Anodizing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Weigh parts following degreasing and complete any required written records
• Set and operate scales to do accurate piece counts
• Ensure different part numbers and customer orders are not mixed on a skid
• Use of pallet jack to pull product to the degreasing lines
• Ability to multi-task and work at a fast pace
• Maintain a clean work area including but, not limited to:
  • Empty Trash
  • Sweep degreasing area
  • Mop floor as needed
• Other duties as directed

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, division, multiplication and percentages.
• Able to differentiate between different part numbers as well as ability to read and write in English for required written records.
• Use a hand-held calculator.
• Work independently with little supervision.
