Job summary

Anomatic Corporation in Newark, OH is seeking a production operator for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3:30pm-11:30pm) in the Degreasing department. You will operate a degreaser and ensure parts are clean for anodizing.

Responsibilities include loading parts, weighing and recording data, maintaining accuracy, and keeping a clean, safe work area. Multitasking and fast-paced work are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, division, multiplication and percentages.
• Able to differentiate between different part numbers and read/write in English for required written records.
• Use a hand-held calculator.
• Work independently with little supervision.
• Wear safety equipment, including safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, arm guards, and gloves.

• Properly load parts in baskets and unload parts after degreasing.
• Weigh parts following degreasing and complete any required written records.
• Set and operate scales to do accurate piece counts.
• Ensure different part numbers and customer orders are not mixed on a skid.
• Use a pallet jack to move product to the degreasing lines.
• Ability to multi-task and work at a fast pace.
• Maintain a clean work area including empty trash, sweep degreasing area, and mop floor.
• Other duties as directed.

Job Summary

This production floor position is responsible for the efficient operation of a degreaser by monitoring all steps to ensure that all parts come out clean and ready for Anodizing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
