Job summary

Anomatic in Newark, Ohio is seeking a degreaser operator for the second shift to ensure parts are cleaned and ready for anodizing. You will load/unload baskets, weigh parts, and maintain accurate records.

The job requires operating scales, managing part numbers, and moving materials with a pallet jack while keeping the work area clean and safe. You will perform multiple tasks at a fast pace, follow safety protocols, and contribute to a clean, efficient production line.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, division, multiplication and percentages.
• Able to read and write in English for required written records.
• Use a hand-held calculator.
• Work independently with little supervision.
• Wear safety equipment including safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, arm guards, and gloves.

Responsibilities

• Load parts in baskets and unload parts after degreasing.
• Weigh parts and complete required written records.
• Set and operate scales to do accurate piece counts.
• Ensure different part numbers and customer orders are not mixed on a skid.
• Use a pallet jack to pull product to the degreasing lines.
• Ability to multi-task and work at a fast pace.
• Maintain a clean work area including trash, sweeping, and mopping.
• Other duties as directed.

Location: Newark, Ohio

Reports to: Production Manager

Shifts: Second Shift: Monday – Friday, 3:30 pm - 11:30 pm

Pay: $18.00/hr

JOB SUMMARY

This production floor position is responsible for the efficient operation of a degreaser by monitoring all steps to ensure that all parts come out clean and ready for Anodizing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Weigh parts following degreasing and complete any required written records
• Set and operate scales to do accurate piece counts
• Ensure different part numbers and customer orders are not mixed on a skid
• Use of pallet jack to pull product to the degreasing lines
• Ability to multi-task and work at a fast pace
• Maintain a clean work area including but, not limited to:
• Empty Trash
• Sweep degreasing area
• Mop floor as needed
• Other duties as directed
