Job summary

Activate Global, Inc. in New York City seeks a Fellowship Manager to lead its New York scientist-entrepreneur community within the hard-tech fellowship.

You will run the local program for fellows through their two-year journey, focusing on shaping experiences, partnerships, and program quality. The role requires managing a three-person local team, delivering programming, operations, and community growth while collaborating with the Fellowship Director and other US communities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in program management or related field.
• Experience supporting scientists, researchers, hard-tech, or entrepreneurship preferred.
• Proven ability to build and sustain communities and networks.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end fellow experience and health of the New York community.
• Direct local programming (bi-weekly in-person, quarterly virtual).
• Manage local operations, onboarding, data, and benefits for fellows.
• Supervise the Fellowship Associate and coordinate with the Managing Director.
• Collaborate with the Fellowship Director and cross-functional teams to translate insights into strategy.
• Oversee budgeting, meetings, and team-wide coordination.
• Represent Activate in New York’s hard-tech ecosystem and at events.
